Description: Assists customers with frame selection, fits and dispenses frames.  Utilizing technical information to interpret prescription to assist customer with selection of optical products and services.  Essential Responsibilities: 

1.Assist each customer in frame and lens selection.  2.Provide customers with accurate product information regarding frames, lens selections and other services.

3.Provide customers covered by Third Party insurance with accurate information regarding benefits to ensure proper selection of frames and lenses.  Discuss frames/lens extras and options.  Inform the customer of any additional charges not covered by their Third Party insurance coverage.  Analyze and interpret patients' prescriptions.

4.Analyze and interpret patients' prescriptions.

5. Sell, fit and dispense frames and other accessories through the use of accurate measurements, verification of ordered products and adjustments of various optical products.

6.Maintain a clean and orderly dispensing area.

7.Responsible for the accuracy of patient pricing.

8.Communicate clearly with lab and Optometrist to ensure accuracy of prescription.

9.Maintain license requirements.

10. Additional responsibilities as identified based on business need.

Salary: $18-$22/hr DOE

Hours:  Tues, Thurs 10am-8pm, Wed, Fri 8:30am-6:30pm, Sat 8:30-4:00

Description: Looking for an experienced optician to go into the new Toyota plant in San Antonio to service their employees.  This will include writing up eyewear orders, doing adjustments and dispensing new glasses.  Airgas will manufacture the eyewear and ship back to you for dispensing. Hours are still being determined, but could be Tuesdays and Fridays from 2pm - 6pm every week & 7am - 9am one day per month.  this may be flexible. Airgas will supply all sample materials needed for this position.
