Pricing:  This one hour course is $15 for Academy members or $20 for Nonmembers. 

Course Description:  Transmittable Diseases through Tears: Health Risks Associated with the Eye Health Care Professional is necessary on three (3) levels--- knowledge of three particular diseases, ways to prevent transmission of these diseases and preventive measures including sterilization and disinfection.

 Instructional Objectives:  Upon successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify three transmittable diseases through tears.
  • Recommended ways to prevent transmission of these diseases
  • Proper sterilization and disinfections of the work place and equipment
