On Saturday, November 8, 2025, SECO University and the National Academy of Opticianry (NAO) present a full day of free, live virtual continuing education. This interactive program offers 6 hours of optician-focused CE, with sessions ranging from clinical insights and troubleshooting to patient communication and practice management.
Approved for ABO, NC Spectacle, SC CE Broker, and AOA PARA credit, with select courses also eligible for NCLE and NC Contact Lens credit, this program delivers practical knowledge you can put to work immediately.

Michael Gatti, ABOC, NCLEC
Michael, an ABO/NCLE-certified and Arizona-licensed optician, has 20 years of optical experience. A dynamic leader and ABO-approved speaker, he doubled sales in a major ophthalmology practice before managing an optometric office and joining HOYA Vision Care. Over the last five years, he has advanced from Field Training Manager to Senior Manager of Training & Development. Known for his motivational style and practice-building expertise, Michael has been featured in trade articles and is dedicated to helping Eye Care Professionals grow.
Kelly Rosemann, ABOC
Kelly, an ABO-certified optician and Level II ABO-approved speaker, has over 25 years of optical experience. Beginning as an apprentice in 1997, she helped grow a cold-start practice into a million-dollar business during her 15 years as manager. In 2018, she joined HOYA Vision Care as a Territory Sales Manager, earning “Customer Service TSM of the Year” in 2019. Now National Technical Training Manager – ECP, Kelly is passionate about educating Eye Care Professionals nationwide on optics and eyecare.
Diane F. Drake, LDO, ABOM, NCLEM, FNAO
Diane F. Drake, LDO, ABOM, NCLEM, FNAO has over 40 years in the Optical business and is an approved speaker for ABO-NCLE up to advanced level and for Paraoptometrics and for JCAHPO. She has served as president for the National Academy of Opticianry, the Southeastern Opticians Conference and the Opticians Association of Georgia receiving recognition and awards from each of these organizations. She has authored several books and is a continuing contributor to several publications including the widely accepted contact lens review book, Beginning Your Life as a Contact Lens Technician, the Basic Opticians Tutorial and the Advanced Opticians Tutorial.
